We get it! Being in pain or having an injury can be frustrating.
Injuries strip you of
your identity
Your tennis team is wondering if you can play this week. Going to the gym is a waste. Doing that 1/2 marathon with your friends is a bust. All I can do is walk the dog!
The worst part? You know the doctor is going to suggest “easing off” or “cutting back” or “retiring” altogether — we know that’s just not an option. That’s where
Performance Roswell Physical Therapy at Mission Move can help.
Here Is How It Works!
This is where it all begins. On this 15 min phone consultation, we will listen as you talk about what limitations you are dealing with now and how it is affecting your life. We are really good listeners and spend more time with you on the phone than most Doctors spend with you in their office. We want to make sure we are the best fit for helping you. The next step is the Evaluation and the start of Your 3 Step Process.
Your 3 Step Process
1
Move Forward
We perform a comprehensive Evaluation to figure out the problem, and start you moving forward from pain to feeling better.
2
Move Better
We fix the problem by working on faulty movement patterns, weakness, and flexibility so you are moving better than when your issue started.
3
Move More
You are fully restored, doing more than you thought possible, and you have a plan so the problem doesn’t return.
What People Are Saying
“I’ve had knee pain that has steadily gotten worse since I was 19 (I’m 38 now). Joel was able to identify my problems and get me on track to pain free mobility in four visits. I am starting to run again after years of thinking iI never would. I am an occupational therapist and would attest to Joel’s expertise in rehabilitation… he is a cut above the rest! I really appreciate how strategically he plans your treatment so that each visit gives you a big step toward recovery; no waste with Joel!”
-Andrea Vandervort
“Being a former collegiate athlete,I have done a lot of physical therapy and Joel is by far the best physical therapist I have every seen. I had a torn labrum, oversized shoulder capsule, and partially torn bicep tendon and am 6 months post op. Joel not only is extremely knowledgable, but he also adjusts his treatment to catch individual clients and what is best for them. The individualized attention is great and he has helped me get my strength back in the safe and most effective way!”
-Claire Goodson
“As I was training for a marathon I developed ankle pain that remained ongoing through the weeks after the race. I met the Mission Move staff at Big Peach run club and chose their practice because I knew they were runners as well. The physical therapy sessions were extremely helpful and the staff was very efficient on targeting the problem and finding a solution. I am very happy with the progress I made and will visit Mission Move for any future injury I may have!”
-Karen Kerechanin
“I can’t recommend this place enough! I originally went there for a shoulder injury but once they helped me heal that, I signed up for “performance plus” visits to to get guidance with general strength training and fitness. I’m 61 and have been pretty sedentary, so the goal was to find exercises I could gradually improve with and avoid injury by not pushing progress too fast. The strength training was very helpful but I also wanted to find some aerobic exercise I could take on. After a aborted attempt at running, they suggested I look into cycling. I’ve always enjoyed riding my bike, but its been more for fun than exercise. The PTs at mission move advised me on the type of bike and accessories to get and performed a “fitting.” I got a lesson on cycling form and they even connected me up with a local crew that does group cycling. I’m riding ~25 miles a couple times a week now and really enjoying it. I don’t think I’d of gotten this far without their help. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back for an injury or for help improving athletically.”
-Cliff Brown
“I highly recommend Joel! Id give him more stars if I could!! I have been living with lower back pain, sciatica and upper back pain for years. Tried literally everything including chiro, lacrosse balls, stretching, acupuncture, too many drs to count, etc. Joel made me pain free almost immediately! He tailored his approach to my individual needs and taught me how to relieve it myself and how to exercise again. Id recommend him to anyone that needs physical therapy or thinks they might need it. You will be glad you went. A great guy with an amazing depth of knowledge.”
-Alexander Smith
“I met with Joel to help me prepare for a 130 mile gravel bike race in middle Georgia. Joel set me up with an initial bike fitting and we worked together to create a mobility and strength program to set me up for success. With the help of the program, I was able to reach my goal and complete the race! Definitely appreciate all the help and effort from Joel in getting me across the finish line.”
